begin to restart

As I start this blog hundreds of Occupy Wall Street protesters shiver in the mid-October cold of lower Manhattan. They've been preparing for the turn of weather for weeks. But I have been preparing for the turn of weather for years. The pilot of episode of Restart Nation is finished, and the promo is up on the Storypoint site and ready for viewing. It is our hope, all of us who have worked so hard to see this show find a broadcaster or cable network, that it will not be long before someone besides us realizes there are millions of people in America who will never have the money to retire, and face no golden old age. This is lost on those who profit by selling us insurance and assuring us we should put our money in their trust. There is no money, and there certainly is no trust left. Our motto says is, we must find ways to help ourselves because no one else will. Restart Nation is dedicated to making a new start, to building new careers, new lifestyles and new hope. We are not ready to go gently into that good night. And even if we were, the night is no longer good and the path is no longer gentle.
